Faris Naber First sales hire Austin, TX

Revenue from zero.

  • $530K+ from a cold market
  • 4× the next-best rep’s sales
  • Systems still running after I left

Hi, I’m Faris.

I’m a first sales hire. I build the motion, then I sell with it.

Cold start, figure out what works, sell through it, and turn it into a system rep #2 can run.

TheMotion

Great reps don’t need more hustle. They need the right process. I take strong reps and turn them into excellent ones: the right sales motion, the right system, the same steps every time.

  1. 01Approach
  2. 02Earn 30 seconds
  3. 03Get the product in their hands
  4. 04Demo
  5. 05Close
  6. 06Document what worked
  7. 07Turn it into a playbook
  8. 08Make rep #2 able to run it

The goal isn’t to be the only rep who can do it.

The goal is to build the motion another rep can run.

SelectedWork

Three sales floors. I built the system on each.

01 — Philip Morris International · IQOS · Austin

Philip Morris

A three-year-old program. I rebuilt how it sold.

3 years on the old approachI join. New system.

The program had been running for three years when I joined. I didn’t follow the existing playbook. I rebuilt the approach into a real system, and ran it the same way every time.

  1. Approach
  2. Hook
  3. Product in hand
  4. Full demo
  5. Close

More approaches → more trials → more sales

Then the system: script, territory strategy, objection framework and hiring loop. Brewco, the agency that took over the program, still runs it.

02 — Rep Rally · Texas

Rep Rally

A completely cold market, turned into recurring revenue.

Texas was a completely cold market with a cold approach: store owners who already carried a dozen vendors and wanted no more.

“No more vendors.” ↓ became the opening.

I repositioned around what Rep Rally does that they don’t. Then I widened the market from c-stores into wholesale-to-wholesale, and held the book through the Sept 2025 Texas category ban.

Then the system: I wrote the territory playbook and the cold-store workflow, and lead the fireside meetings that get new reps to their first 10–20 accounts faster.

1,800 reps nationwide. One of them is #3.

There was no system for setting appointments when I joined. I built a motion that booked more appointments, which meant more cars sold than anyone on the floor. The floor adopted the scripts.
